Pier and Beam Foundation
A pier and beam foundation is a type of foundation used in homes where the structure is supported by a series of vertical piers and horizontal beams. Beams, Floor Joist, Plywood and any other wood used in a Pier and Beam foundation must be Pressure Treated Lumber only. This material will prolong and better support the structural integrity of the homes foundation.
Slab Foundation
A slab foundation is a type of foundation commonly used in residential construction, where a single, continuous concrete slab is poured directly onto the ground to form the base of the house. Sometimes these concrete slabs can slant or fall in certain areas causing issues to the homes foundation. Piers are placed around the concrete perimeter beam to lift and or adjust the slab back to its original level, and stabilizing the homes foundation.
